On 20th November 2025, we marked the 10th anniversary of the National CareTech Care Awards—a celebration of the incredible colleagues who make extraordinary days happen every day. From inspiring stories and national winners to voices from the people we support, the event showcased the dedication and passion that define CareTech.

Celebrating Excellence: The National CareTech Care Awards 2025

At CareTech, we believe extraordinary care starts with extraordinary people. That’s why, every year, we come together to recognise and celebrate the incredible colleagues who make a difference every day.

On 20th November, we marked a major milestone—the 10th anniversary of the National CareTech Care Awards—at a special event in Watford, where our journey began over 30 years ago thanks to founders Haroon and Farouq Sheikh.

Although the awards are for our employees, they reflect something much bigger: our unwavering commitment to quality care and the people who deliver it. This annual celebration brings together winners from across our divisions—Children’s Services and Adults & Specialist Services—alongside inspiring voices from the people we support and from our subsidiary companies.

The theme was all about listening to those voices. We heard powerful stories of resilience and dedication and proudly announced our 2025 national winners: Joshua Barreto and Colin Davies, whose passion and commitment embody what CareTech stands for.

The event also featured an inspiring keynote from Jessica Smith OAM PLY, former Paralympian and advocate for accessibility and inclusion, reminding us why these values are central to our purpose.

The CareTech Care Awards are more than a ceremony—they’re a celebration of the people who create extraordinary days, every day. Their hard work, compassion, and innovation transform lives across the UK and beyond.
